Mimi n i in a trishaw or 'beca' cruising ard penang city. We decided to take a beca back to the hotel because we couldn't get a cab. It was the best decision ever! We got to see penang like never before! With cars n bikes zooming by, mimi n i were in our own lil world! Pakcik beca's stereo system was on full blast to hindi tunes, it was so surreal! It was definately the ride of a lifetime! Love, Belinda & Mimi.
Original old town kopitiams can be found throughout penang n ipoh. With a lot of imitators now budding in cities n attracting young crowds, many still prefer to sip their kopi's from thick rimmed cups, have half boiled eggs n roti bakar in these quaint old shops for its atmosphere. This shop has been operating since 1947.
With the staff at The Heavenly Spa The Westin. Mimi n I received vouchers to go to the spa here, so we decided to go rest our weary muscles after a long day of scuba. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the spa manager, who took us on a short tour of the 2 week old facility. The serene decor of the place was influenced by pakistani n japanese designs. She then suggested that we do the skin relaxation massage which consist of a choc scrub. Sounded so yummy! But unfortunately, even with our gift vouchers, we couldn't afford it so i decided to go for the bone cracking thai massage, whereas mimi opted for an ayurvedic massage. By the end of it, we both felt like angels coz we've just been to heaven! Haha!;-) A must try for everyone going to langkawi. Teman approved! Love Belinda & Mimi.
